Masterpiece
Miami Connection
The story
A taekwondo rock band confronts motorcycle ninjas and a criminal gang.
Critical appreciation
A stirring meditation on friendship, musical excellence, and the geopolitical threat posed by motorcycle ninjas. Few films have so courageously suggested that world peace might be achieved through taekwondo and synthesizer-driven rock music.
